mid-Michigan ice info?!
« on: Jan 13, 2019, 06:05 AM »
I know most of the lakes around West Branch and further up north are froze. Will finally be going up next week, probably Houghton Lake. Some friends and relatives have iced certain spots on Saginaw Bay and River, but 3-4 inches of ice doesn't make me feel to comfy. Maybe with it finally turning colder the ice will get better. My cousin was at Higgins Lake yesterday, but haven't heard back from him. So anyone add some ice thickness information if you have it. Was thinking about going up to Munscong Bay, since I haven't been there since I was a teenager.
