Title: Waubascon Lake

Anybody in the B.C. area  checked it yet ? Usually one of the first lakes to freeze. Would check it myself but over an hour away . Just curious.

Also interested! I have a house on Fine Lake that isnt too far away from there, always looking for more places to fish.

Went by today. Looked like most of it was locked up but still open a ways out in front of creek. Still looked too sketchy to walk on by boat launch.

Will do. Checked a couple other early freezers tonight and they  still need about a week yet before ready if week stay cold.

Well, got on today. 2" solid ice with a little snow cover. Plenty of others out too. Real light bite. Ended up with 23 keepers with some sorting in 8 hours. Thanks to those with the scouting reports. 😉

Got out tonight . 2hrs 15 gills had to do a lot of sorting.2-3 inches of ice. Parking lot was full . It amazes me every year how many guys walk out on the ice with without a spud in there hand . Please be safe out there and tight lines.😀

Drove by the lake today around noon, about a dozen guys out there, including the local C. O.   !

Holy Cow!!! There was open water 2 days ago in front of launch.
