48* and cloudy. Looks like we got some light rain overnight.
Spitoz, you can keep that cold but we could use some rain.
F/H4, I looked at your link and all I can say is, OK I'm too old for this, maybe if I was younger I would understand.
IW, glad #1 is feeling better each day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the wife.
WS, surprised to didn't take over when RUSH left us. It was only 3 hours a day. Nice when you run into an old friend.
WW, the new service seems pretty good, data speeds are faster so the wife says. None of the channel numbers are the same as DISH was, but I will figure it out in a few months. Lost some of the OUTDOOR channels that I use to watch. Did get YES but so far have not watched a game due to the MLB issue with the state of GA.
Hope everyone has a good day and stay well....h2l

The wife is going to her hair dressers this morning to get a hair cut. First time in several years. I think the last time I had to drive her over so it must have been just after her transplant which will be 5 years on July 1st.

Yeah kind of like Abbey but a lot cleaner and have to wear a suit that covers everything but my eyes right now. I watch the CSI and other cop shows and see things I use in the lab and see some techniques that they do that would not work in the test they are doing. Then on to my job I see every mistake I do in preparing samples. Depending on how to get better might be a full suit with supplied air as we are the contaminants that enter the room and the ICP can sense as we run the sulfuric acid. Like if I eat a banana and go prep samples and breathe I will see some potassium in the samples. There are so many things that we cannot do while in the room and the hardest one is no deodorant as it wears off or protects as I would call it we see aluminum from it. All the interesting things you learn as you look for small amounts of things. The ICP can also tell you how much I THC is in the drug to see how potent the drug is or how the mixture of different drugs in the capsules are being made. Do not do that side of things as I run one thing since that is what we are making. But it all fascinates me and I learn more each day as we try to get better and better at what we do.

45 hope all is well with the wife and they figure out how to fix it all.

Have a great day everyone stay safe out there. See the snow is still falling at home so hopefully all the travel goes well tomorrow.

I had a cool 35* to start the day. A little rain with maybe some snow mixed in guessed for the day.

IF 46 Wishing the best for your wife.

I have been through 4 sleep studies. 2 at one place and two at another. At  the  first I had trouble sleeping with all of the stuff stuck on my head. I had to go thorough the second on at the other places as they thought my oxygen levels were to low on the first test. The teck said there was only one short period that my O2 level went to low so I did not have to have oxygen attached to my cpap. I did end up with a bi-pap where the pressure  drops when you exhale. Since I lost weight I am not using it any more.

How did the trial go with the nerve stimulator go? Hopefully it helped you. It must have if they are going to put in permanent.

FH4 It took my mind a while to stop spinning after trying to make sense out of what you posted  the link to. Way above my intelligence. LOL

Went into work today, its payday, and find they never included the first week back, lol and they wanted me to get caught up on training as I was 142 days behind. So I have been watching video's and taking quizzes LOL.  Think the missing pay should get resolved and included on next check.

Sure feels like its about to begin tossing snow balls outside.

Dave nice parking spot for the SxS.  Hope it all comes together, and not getting tossed a curve on getting your materials out on sight.

time to go finish a break.

Good evening rainy day heavy at times tomorrow's forecast calls for similar weather. Ditto my comments from yesterday to all who are seeing snow.
Ice Wanderer happy Birthday to your wife. may the person trying to use your wife's identity to claim unemployment  be caught and stand trail. Good to hear Mealworm's health is improving.
Whopper Stopper thank you for explaining why you ended up doing tree work instead of staying in the world of broadcasting.
Icefisher-45 may today have been a good one for you and your wife.
Wallyworld glad you were able to mow before this rain  with this moisture you should be mowing again in a week or little longer.
Hunts2long glad your wife is happy with Spectrum's service so far sorry you lost some Outdoor channels in the switch.
Fish/hunt4ever like others do not understand all the machine you provided link to does or all that your job involves amazing how sensitive the machine is to detecting things in the food you eat or health/beauty products you use and which can interfere with the purity of the sulfuric acid produced.
Tomturkey after all those studies hope the doctors have some ideas to help you sleep better.
IFF may the paycheck issue get corrected.

Have a good night.

Good Morning Everyone,
31* and snowing, started about 7 o’clock last evening, high of 39 today. Looks like maybe  an inch or two on the lawn, road looks clear.

Jeff...HAPPY be-LATED BIRTHDAY wishes to your wife, hope she had a wonderful day yesterday!  Excellent news on MW, best wishes continued for him and the family getting over this nasty virus.   X2 on Steve’s reply about the unemployment claim, seems to be a lot of that going on.
Steve...saw on the news yesterday Albany will have a new National Lacrosse team to be playing at the Times Union Center...The FireWolves. They’re hoping to
“ pack the house “ with the new team this coming season!
Bud...going to stay on working for a little while yet? Hope the bank was able to clear up with the rest of your hacking issues.
Tom...hope everything is going well for you and the family...better weather is just around the corner...I think, lol.
FH4...I kind of thought you were speaking of a machine used in a Clean Room. Not really familiar with them, but I worked on a very big Chip Plant a few years back that had very sophisticated equipment as you described. Remember one tech telling me that bathing daily was basically frowned upon as too many skin cells would be in the atmosphere and create problems. Have a good wrap to the week, safe travels today!
H2...glad the new service is working out well.   This rain and snow melt should get the reservoir up a bit soon!
Wally...from what I understand with the Unemployment, the waiting week is not effect during the pandemic. We worked too many hours to claim a partial check last week, but should be good to go claiming this week.     Things should start growing like crazy after this week.... ;D
Marv...hope you had a safe day with the saws yesterday!   Thanks for “ the rest of the story “ ...
I-45...thoughts and prayers, best wishes sent for your wife, hope the Dr.’s can get her problems under control quickly.     How is that new stimulator working out for ya?

Helped a friend out yesterday pouring a basement floor in an old house he’s been working on...low beams in the basement, felt like a hunchback by the end of the day. Only whacked my noggin once, but it was enough to see stars for a minute...Doh!  :o
R&R day today.  The transducer I ordered arrived yesterday, was glad to see that...anxious to try it out soon.   Will check in later to see how everyone is doing...
Cawfee’s on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

Bud..........I hope you get that check next week. I thought you were retiring? ???
H2l...........Wow...Th at's a long time with out a hair cut, did she donate it for cancer patients? ???
Wally........Checking the radar and you could be just on the edge of snow/rain, did you get some? ???
Tom.........It's good to see you checking in, I hope all is well in Michigan.
Marv........How did it go at the Range?
Fish.........You got me back where you posted the model of the machine. Safe travels home. :flex:
                          Spitzo......Any overtime this week?
Steve.......I bet you got all rain, and a lot of it.
I want to thank everyone on behalf of my wife for all the Birthday wishes. She was very impressed with the responses.
I have a follow up appointment this morning in Albany, and the other dat a truck with a crane on the trailer hit am overpass on
I87 near Clifton Park, I'll have to leave erlier than I usually do, not sure if I87 is open yet.
I hope everyone has a good Friday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

Good morning Everyone

38 with a high of 55 today. Sunset is 8pm enjoy the longer days

Eddie... Glad the ducer showed up. I hope you are able to straighten out today

IW....Best of luck on the follow up appointment

WW....Hope your freshly mowed lawn didn't get snow on it.

Yesterday cutting at the range went well. I put in just short of 4 hours and got credit for 8. The Manager said to give him a week or two to come up with more to cut.

Not much going on today just a couple errands to run.

Hope you all have a good day  Stay safe and stay healthy.

34* light rain, some snow on the cars and some in the trees up on the hill away from the lake.
IW, wife came home with only about 3 or 4 inches cut off her hair. Said she likes it longer.
Eddie, I checked the website for the lake and it only has come up about an inch. River is running a little more this morning. I am sure the ground is soaking up some of it, it has been dry. Good luck with the unemployment and the new transducer.
Mr. C, should get use to not having the outdoor channels. Too much bass fishing and people shooting deer off their corn piles.
Have a good day and stay well...h2l

Eddie, Jeff, yes I will be tossing my time card away, soon, very soon, still want to take advantage of the employee discounts on a few things, already come out ahead by $150 on 3 deep cycle batteries.  Haven't made up my mind if I want to also get a Satellite system, but leaning more toward not, and just go with what would be available on the free airways.  The cable, and Satellite programing is,  at least for me getting out of hand cost wise.  :nono: One item I think I will find useful in my travels is a Blackstone grill, in the table model.  I hate mornings, but love breakfast  ;D  My target day of resignation is this coming Monday.

Seeing how my beard would pass for Santa Claus, getting it cut way back might bring on warmer weather

Looks like winter wonderland out again this morning, one lonesome dove into the protected food offering this morning.  now that is had some is content to take a nap right there on the plastic under pot plate I put the seed in.

Dennis you must be referring to the FedX work place ?  Getting hard to keep track of where they have been happening.  Far to many that's for sure.

Toast with the coffee sounds like a good idea to me this morning.

take care all.

Sad. There seems to be so many more shootings when certain groups are in charge of the country.
Not sure why this is. It could be just a coincidence. Either way there needs to be something done about it.

On a happier note I got some more goodies in the mail for my SxS today so I bolted them on. :)
Not wired up yet but it's looking good. Other than these I have replacement LED bulbs for the head lights, 52" curved light bar for above the windshield, 42" rear facing LED bar at the top of the headache rack and a 12" single row for reverse light that will go between the rear lights below the box.
The yellows are for snow and fog. Figure they'll be really helpful when plowing.

               Good morning ER's
It's 34* and cloudy here on my hill. ::)
Marv.........Good going at the range, nothing better than working 4 hrs. and getting credit for 8. :flex:

Eddie........Are you planning on another visit with your mother, I hope she is doing well.
H2l...........We got almost 2 inches of rain Thursday in to Friday plus snow, it should have helped raise the water level.
Wally........ We ended up with about 4" of snow, it was heavy and wet, it now has settled to about a 1/2 inch on the grass, but if
I drive down the road a 1/2 mile little left. :o
My appointment at the VA wasn't very informing, the orthopedic Dr. said that I need to see a neck specialist and they don't do that
there. So they are referring me to the bone and joint specialist that worked on my hand last year. My problem is that in late Nov. or early
Dec. I started getting a tingling on my left hand and numbness. I thought it might have something to do with my shoulder replacement.
                OH well getting old sucks.
Looks like another boring day weather wise.

Good Morning Jeff, Morning Everyone,
Cloudy and 36* this am, high of 49 today.  All the snow we got has disappeared into a good dose of poor mans fertilizer, ready for some nice weather now.
Thoughts and prayers for all those involved in these senseless shootings.  :%$#!: :cookoo:

Dave...the beast is looking really sweet with the new lights, can’t wait to see what it looks like all lit up!  Have a safe trip to the cabin this morning!   :flex:
Bud...hope everything works out the way you want it to, on your terms...best of luck!
OG... how’s the fishing been going?
H2...we definitely needed some rain, seeing the snow again kind of sucked, lol. Probably won’t be long until some of those heavy rain and thunderstorms roll in our way again to get that reservoir back to normal.
Marv...glad you had a good day at the range...nice deal on the double time hours!!!
Jeff...you’re right about the hard hat, one of the few times I wish I had it on! ;D   Best wishes with your next appointment, hope they can get that issue under control.   Will have another visit with my Mom this coming week, daily reports on her have been pretty good, thank you for asking.
Wally...any fishing plans coming up this week?

Sent a message to our supervisor yesterday morning for any updates on work, budget money released, and our letters. He responded quickly, but still not much on anything yet....waiting game. One senator responded and is asking questions so that’s a start I guess...hopefully more will follow soon.
A trip to the transfer station at 8, then off to wet a line for a couple hours....Cawfee’s on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

36* and some sun.
IW, not sure how much rain we got. Didn't rain all that hard. I know they had to plow up in the hills where my brother lives. What we need is rain to the North and West of us, that is the watershed for Sacandaga. Hope they resolve the hand issue.
Eddie, snow doesn't last long this time of year
WW, 2 weeks from today and we still need about 7 feet of water in the lake. The boat sits in the garage. Maybe next week I will hook up the charger, also have to re-spool a couple reels.
Drifter, they will see you coming with that rig. Looks like a real work horse.
The wife is going out to breakfast with a couple friends this morning.

Good morning after receiving rain on Thursday and Friday the sun is now shining and wins of 5-10 mph. It still will be a cooler day with temperature only reaching the middle fifties. My nephew  made a surprise visit home from San Diego for a number of years my BIL was a season ticket holder holder for the NY.RED Bulls of Major League Soccer tonight is this season's opening game my nephew was able to get tickets and is treating my BIL . I'm glad my sister and BIL are getting to see their son but hope none of them has problems with Covid down the road from this visit both my BIL and nephew have received their vaccine shots and my sister has gotten her first shot. My prayers added to those said for all involved in the latest mass shooting.
Eddie thank you for the info. about a National Lacrosse league team coming to Albany and starting play in the 2021-2022 season. Glad your Mom is doing well may your coming visit not get canceled. Best to you with today's fishing trip.
Ice Wanderer hope a section of (I-87/Northway) is not closed because of the truck accident. You are correct only received rain mid. April snow is a rare event here and usually under two inches of snow. May the specialist be able to help with your arm issues.
Whopper Stopper nice that you are getting double credit for your time spent at the gun range. Best to you and the girls have a nice weekend.
Hunts2long may GSL's water level rise so you can get your boat out for the opening of Walleye season.
IFF good idea to take advantage of your employee discount before retiring. May the snow you received be melting.
Drifter all those lights should give you good night vision and help others see you coming down the road. Best to you at the cabin this weekend.
Wallyworld glad like me you only received rain and did not need to get the snowblower out of storage. may the weather cooperate and you get out on Lake Ontario's waters this coming week.
Fish/hunt4ever hope you had an uneventful trip home.
SpitzoMT may you be able to relax over the weekend.

Have a good Saturday stay healthy and safe. Best to all fishing this weekend.

Made it home and all the flights were pretty uneventful which I like. Left green grass and the starts of planting corn and other fields to snow and cooler weather. I am not complaining as the snow is melting and adding much needed moisture. A bunch of people were complaining of the cold but it felt normal to me. Have a great weekend and be safe out doing any activities in the spring time weather.

Not much planned for today. The wife is going to cut my hair. She enjoyed breakfast out with her friends yesterday.
Seeing a few boats headed north, must be trout fishermen, about the only thing that is open.

Wally...will probably be ready for the first lawn mowing here sometime this week. A buddy of mine was telling me yesterday the Browns have been a tough go lately on Ontario, hopefully that changes soon. Here’s to good weather and a double digit day for you and Mr.WW this week!

Tried 2 different trout streams yesterday, conditions were just how I like them...touch high and little cloudy. Guess the trout weren’t as pleased, lol, nothing interested in what I offered.
Not much on the planner today here either...but the Cawfee’s on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

                Good morning ER's,
                          It's 43* and a bright sunny day. ::)  It's about time. :woot:
Eddie..........I'm sorry to hear that the trout were not cooperating, but at least you got out.
Marv...........Another tree at your sisters, how much property do they have? ???
Wally..........#1 and his wife are a whole lot better, they got out of quarantine Friday at mid-night. They said it was like someone flicked
a switch Friday morning, almost no issues except for their taste and smell are still almost non existent. They talked to the county and they don't need
to get tested . They inquired about getting vaccinated and they told them sometime in the middle of the week. :flex:
H2l.............I hope enough rain comes so the lake can get up to normal water levels.
Steve..........Kudo's to your nephew for getting the tickets.  I'm sure they will be fine.
Fish............I'm glad you got home safely with no delays in flights. :flex:
OS..............How is your hand doing? ???
Dave...........I'm glad to read that you got one load out, good luck getting the other out. :flex:
I-45............How are you and your wife making out? ???
Today, I'm taking my neighbor to a goat farm for some manure for their garden, then my wife and I are going to paint our counter tops.
Right now they are Black and my wife wants a lighter color. They make a special counter top paint. It's worth a try. #1 son did in their kitchen
                and it came out nice.
I hope everyone has good Sunday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

                IW

Good Morning, Everybody

49* - cloudy, no real breeze, might get a sprinkle, talking some snow for midweek, the colder air is making it's way down from Canada

Ellie got home from Mexico safe, her luggage never made the transfer from 1 plane to the other in Dallas, got delivered here yesterday from the airport, nothing
missing, only thing broken was a wind chime, 'crazy glue' fixed it, Domino' s happy her 'mommy' is home

My 2nd shot for covid went off without a hitch, little bit of a sore arm was all, my back has been cranky from all the things I've been doing, slowly getting the home
office in shape, just have to add more shelves to get things off the floor and rid of moving boxes

I still have at least 3 trips back to NJ for things in storage, the midweek snow won't help with my plans, going to play this week by week, it'll get done eventually

From what I've been reading, it appears everybody is in some kind of good health other than the normal stuff we all experience as we 'age gracefully', like I.W. said -

IW, my hand is coming right along. The told me I could go without the band aid and I have. One of the four stitches has come out and the others seem ready before my appointment to see the doctor!! I've got good dexterity in my hand but still sore at the incision. Before I would get zapped like getting shocked by a live wire, no more of that!! Dr. said I had severe carpal tunnel and it's much better now!! Thanks for asking!! Everyone stay safe and stay well!!
My two favorite college football teams are Ohio State and whoever's playing Michigan!!!

Don't reel against the drag!!!

Ex Minnesnowta lad! You can take the lad out of Minnesnowta, but you can't take Minnesnowta out of the lad!!

Took the wife and boy to the lake today to see if the walleye were still where I left the 2 weeks ago and see if the snow changed things. I think nothing had changed much left the house at 11 and was back by 3 on the water for about 2 hours.

Cannot complain at getting 18 fish and losing a few wife said this is how she likes the trips.
