Favorite Perch Rods

I am curious of what types of rods to use.  I usually try to use a light action pole but I don't know if that is the right choice.  Any suggestions??

I'm New to ice fishing, but I've been using ultra lite. These work fine for me.

I have a St Croix 28" ML that is my favorite for Perch.
