last winter, I got the Lindy Techni Glo panfish kit from Cabela's.  I believe it was a Christmas present.  I love them. They are assorted horizontal jigs and I find I cath all sorts of panfish on them.  That's all I use anymore.

I am finding that my success ice fishing is more about my electronics than what color/style of jig I am using.

Find the fish, drop the jig in front of them, they bite.  Plain and simple, if I'm not marking fish, I don't catch.  If I mark fish, they seem to bite.

Just my experience.

totally agree with that! electronics are the key. once your on them it is just about getting the bite. i have used every color and style. been fishing 30 yrs on hardwater and have bought about every hook style there is available. but nothing has changed the game like my vex! side by side i out fish any partner who does not have electronics. most of their time is spent asking if there are any fish there!
i have enjoyed alot of things in life, but none as much as ice fishing!

I think the size is more important than type of jig.  i've noticed i wasn't hooking a lot of the fish i was getting bites from. so put on a #14 marmooska (one of my favorites) and started hooking them.  I like the glitter grubs from jamminjigs.  They are a lighter jig and get a slow fall.  i have a whole box full, but like the guys above said when i find em 90% of the time i start catchin em no matter what jig i'm usin...

For a vertical presentation my favorites are Demon and Moon jigs.

For a horizontal presentation my go to lures are Fat Boys and Fiska's Wolfram.

Don't know if I wanna give away my secret or not...oh well...

Ficious Jigs all the way. But the problem is they are getting too popular and the guy making them cannot keep up with demand! I suggest if you can order them, do it, they are VERY well made and slay the panfish for me!
