Saginaw Bay or River?

Has anyone fished either of these lately? I fished the river last tuesday, wondering if anyone can give me an fishin/ice report?

I was over that way yesterday. The bay, as well as the river are not good to get onto right now... Only about 2-3" of ice in the bay in most places, and The river is just patchy... There was a freighter that went through and tore the ice all up... I am going back to Bay City tomorrow, if anything changes, I will let you know...

if you have gas in your boat you can fish the river  12-27-07  - maybe the cold air on the way will help.

Thanks guys, last week i fished by independence bridge and had 4-5 inches, guys were catching some nice perch, all i caught were tons of sub legal walleye.
