I keep watching that 15 day forecast and its finally looking good around the 11th or 12th. I have the week of the 22nd of so I just hope we have ice by then.

I know what your saying folks, but something has to give sooner or later! I was even thinking of putting the boat back in the water! About the time I do, it'll freeze. It really sucks for me! I have a own a lawncare and snow removal business so things are really slow right now except for the ocassional tree job. Try to keep the faith my brothers!

dont believe it until u see it, I checked it just b4 christmas and they had temps in the single digits around this time. Its currenty 47 degrees at 2 am. go figure

its terrible it is now january and the five day forecast still shows temps in the mid 40's yet.

from what i'm hearing is its hit or miss with more miss. be there first light and you might get a couple keepers. i took the daughter saturday. we hit augres south to hoyles and caught three all day. sounded to me that its pretty much done now. they were doing good at sebawing but also heard that slowed. good luck hope you do better than we did.

oh yeah, if you try it get walleye minnies. seems like the bigger ones like em better. we had perch minnies and everyone i talked to told me i should of got bigger minnies. helps with the dinks.

About three blocks in front of my house actually...rumor has it there are walleye under it as well. Trouble is there isn't any ice there right now though and they plow salt/salt substitute onto the ice when there's snow. 15 degrees today with lake effect snow right now.
