Bear Lake Kalkaska/ Lake Margrethe

Hello fellow ice anglers! I'm taking a trip up to Bear lake this weekend and looking for input. If time permits I may fish Lake Margrethe one day too. I have never fished either lake and would like any general information you may be able to provide on either lake as well as the area in general such as a good restaurant to eat at. Thanks in advance!

Cub lake right by there has good walleye fishing.... The little lake to the north I think it's called east lake or twin lake... Has killer pike fishing.... And dingmans bar is always a good place to get some grub....

Can't help with either of those lakes, but Trout Town Tavern is a great place to eat.
