i think it is over for me this year

went out tonight and man have we lost alot of ice when my uncle drilled the holes it was coming off in chuncks not shavings went to get off tonight and the shore line ice was breaking off bad and when the rain hits tomarrow likw it is spose too it is iver boys but it has been a good year thanks for help all be SAFE out there

That last meltdown put a lot of warm water in the lakes. The re-freeze helped but I think the rains this weekend will be devastating to the ice. There will still be some good ice out there but it will be slim pickins'.

im done it was sad to put my vex and gear away.drank a couple beers as i was doing it and im fine.time to get on the river and beat the steelies down.
