Live Bait (Minnows)
« on: Jan 04, 2006, 04:00 PM »
To all you southshore fishermen, where do you get your minnows?

Season is begun and I need to find a couple of suppliers. Tired of driving long distances for 1" minnows.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Can't help you concerning the southshore because I get all my minnows in St-Henri.  The only one I know though is the one in Cote St-Cath at the corner of Barbeau and St-Laurent.  Its the house on the corner that also sells propane.  The guy there is real nice, will give you a ton of pointers regarding the region.

Hey Dean,

I'm hoping to get out on the Boucherville islands this weekend and will be trying tp pick up minnows at the same place we bought them last year. The guy sells them out of his house on Longueil.I'll only remember it when I drive there.I think the name of the street was Rougement and is just off of Chambly road :) :).

When I get the address and phone number I'll let you know ;D ;D

There was also a Depanneur in Ste Catherines that sold them as well tha we found on New Years day.It was right near the first bridge acoss the channel on the street along from the river.Sorry I don't recall the street names ::)

Hope this helps

Let us know when you want to get out to the Boucherville islands. ;D ;D

Ron
