Jigs and blades
« on: Feb 13, 2012, 11:43 AM »
Some the blades I have been working on

The jigs I am building

If you have any colors that I should be making please let me know.. I do have about 1000 other blades and the fun part is I have figured out how to repaint them and the jigs easy.
I do them so I can loose lots. I do not make them to sell just use or share.

Looks good! I always like to use red for on spinner rigs for walleye, its always the first color I try, but having many different colors like yourself is the best bet.

My favorites are copper (instead of brass), black, blue, chartruse, orange, and pink/white like you already have!

I have seen the light! (Or Colors) Wow I've got to be more inventive in my fishing tackle. It seems I have alot to learn, I've been using the same old colors (reds, greens) no wonder I don't catch fish. Thanks!!!!

Nice job.

I am going to try my hand and making spoons this year.  For what I lost in spoons last year I could have bought everything to make a few hundred of my own.

Not in that bunch but I do have some I use.  I do think presentation is 60% and color, size and shape are a mixed bag for the rest of the formula.. I have 1 friend that uses maybe 3 differant colors and does as well as anyone.  It is amazing how much confidence makes a difference.. I like to have something differant that I have designed myself..

Sounds good to me. Mine are ugly and some very differant colors, since I mix paints and powders but they work.
