First March outing

I've been to FL a couple times in Feb/March, and found it miserably humid. I can't even imagine living there in the summer.

I've been out in the boat a couple times now. I just boated my first carp of the year yesterday, but it was just a little fella.

Cool. Hope to hit my early season carp spot within the next couple weeks. Seasons for game fish are closed in April in both Quebec and neighbouring Ontario, carp should keep me busy until May when they start to open.

Yes, sort of rare in that lake, as it gets pounded all winter long. However, most of them that I've caught there are over 14 inches. Sort of a trophy wp and largemouth fishery. Few big yellow perch as well.
