Belmont Dam in Wayne Co.
« on: Feb 14, 2006, 03:58 PM »
I was wondering if someone can tell me if this is near Waymart, and is it the same as Belmont Lake. MapQuest seem to see them as seperate. I could use some help. If anyone has info I would appreciate.

Waymart is a small town/village, Belmont is a lake.

The ice so short, the fish so long to learn.

Belmont Lake  is north of Waymart about 10 minutes.  If you take route 296N out of Waymart, stay straight all the way just past the  intersection of 370 and 670 you will see the lake on your right.

Does anyone know the ice conditions on the Dam? I haven't seen any reports for this lake in some time. Any info would be helpful

I talked with some guys last weekend that were there on saturday, ice was fine about 9 inches, but fishing was slow.  Hope this  helps.
