NY Ice Fishing Trip 2/1-2/4

Guys,
   Here are a few pics of my first outing of the year.  I headed home to NY(ADKS) and We jigged up a bunch of perch, smallies and a few lake trout on Tip ups.  It was cold as hell up there hence the closed eyes and frozen look on my face!    I ended up with 2 nice lake Trout (22" average) and was hoping for bigger but a Laker is a Laker!  Notice my Fishing/Hunting License on my front pocket with a bait receipt! If you guys go to NY to fish make sure you have a bait receipt or the man will come down on you!  Cant wait to see you all at the Bare hill gathering!

I hear you ron...10 below and I froze my arse off but it was worth it.  You headed to bare Hill next weekend?  There is zero ice here on the cape and I am awaiting the trout stocking via the sandwich hatchery at the end of this month.    I also cant wait for the Stripers to come back into Chatham so I can get in the chest waders on, hit the marshes and throw a salt water spook at em!

Paradox but the spot I was fishing you need permission to access that part of the lake.  You could get on in severance but it would be a LONG walk to the North side of the lake.

Nice job Mack....looking forward to meeting you at Bare Hill..been staying here in Rochester NY every week for work and found a nice spot for my bait trap in the complex here (confirmed by the hotel manager...an ice fisherman) but then realized i shouldnt be messin with bringing bait across the line.....oh well...didnt realize you need a bait receipt here...wow.....K

Nice fish Mack!  The last time I was out that way we fished Paradox, Eagle, and Schroon during the long weekend.  We had a blast!
