Title: Slow response time
Post by: tbern on Dec 03, 2017, 05:40 PM: Anyone else experience this site being slow at times or even not responding for short periods of time once in awhile? Maybe it's just my internet, but doesn't seem to happen on other sites i go to when it's happening at iceshanty. Viewing it on a kindle with Amazon's browser.

it may have helped ..I can bounce around the site easier ....could you check into the SEARCH functions ...just seems off ....when I try searching for something I know I posted the result just aren't there .

Bouncing around the site at 2:35 EST w/o issues ..think the high volume could be a great factor .

An easy fix would be to disable the "Search" function and direct people to do a site search on Google.

Post an example such as:

"walleye spoons" site:iceshanty.com

WAY faster, BETTER RESULTS, LESS strain on your server................ ....................
