87' Safari Track Question
« on: Jul 17, 2021, 01:39 PM »
Hello All,

I have picked up an 87' Safari and am starting to get it ready for ice fishing. My question is, can I stud the track? It's an old track that's in ok shape. Should I stud it?

If it's a yes, what stud/pattern do you recommend? I don't want to spend big money on it but I also do want to sit and spin on the ice!

Looking for your opinions. Thanks

Seeing it's an old track, I wouldn't go overboard with too many studs,  just get some that just go past the edge of the raised tread bars.  That will give you enough traction to get going.
