Winchester Conditions today

Today I went to Winchester to try our favorite Pike. As nobody replied on the ice conditions I take it was unknown.
Nice cold morning peaking 6 below temperatures and some wind. Ice is solid 5.5"-6" very nice black ice under about 1-2" of snow.  3 small pike was todays quota for me which is ok to start.

Nice work!  I'm going out tomorrow morning somewhere in that corner. Still undecided though. Was thinking maybe stillwater but possibly highland or even Winchester. Nice to hear that their is 5.5 to 6 though. Thanks for the update
