was on the cove today a good 6 inches black ice and the areas where slush froze over is 6-8 , no prblem getting on or off

if i were you i wouldnt go any closer to the channel than that until we've had a real good freeze!

yeah, that was as far as i was willing to go, wanted to head over to the north end but the ice seemed to be getting thinner the farther out i went
