open water perch fishing?

I do alot of perch fishing in the winter and would like to get out this year after ice out, but have never fished for perch out of a boat. What kind of set ups do you guys use?

perch rigs if the water is deep enough. bobber and a minnow alot. but i like a snelled aberdein on a bottom weight to drag the bottom

i have a lot of luck with small tube tails tipped with worms fished of a bobber
