Okoboji ice in/out 1916-1990

My grandma cut this out of the Spirit Lake newspaper back in 1990.  I thought it might give some idea on what date to shoot for.

Okaboji is in Iowa, check out the years ending in seven, most of them are earlier than the years around them.......trend?

Dates are listed at the Spirit Lake hatchrie going back to the time they started keeping records... Lists ice up, ice out water levels ect for every year....
