ice in copper harbor

plenty of ice,,,,,, went out from 10th street dock yesterday,,,,, 8" - 10" of solid ice

Went today. No ice from about 7th street east. Ice off of 10th street dock and west was still pretty thick but quite soft, the black ice between the chunks of white ice was the softest, found a couple places where I got the spud through pretty easily. Hopefully the cool weather will solidify things a bit, the ice was honeycombed pretty much all the way through, though not severely.

Several people out when we showed up after noon, by the time we left before sunset only one other group.
