Manistique Lake/ATV Travel
« on: Jan 01, 2020, 07:15 PM »
Coming up to fish Manistique lake next week. Will I be able to get around on an ATV or is there to much snow on the ice.
Thanks for any information.

Fished South Manistique had 8 to 13 inches of ice. Most of the ice was white ice (not the good clear black ice). Some areas with sluch, but no problem getting around on an ATV.  Fishing was slow, people were friendly and the Pine Buff Resort on Manistique lake was a very nice place to stay.

Glad you had a good time and were able to get on.

We got back Saturday, we didn't see any ice less that 8. Friday was getting slushy, there were both quads and sleds everywhere.
