would'nt you know it a BASS is probably gonna place in the PERCH category.

Iguess main is lucky that they Can count for perch

come on guys, read the rules, just about every entry so far on the board has not met the requirements in the rules. I dont want to be picky, but does anyone even read the rules? folks.... no pics in ice huts, and pics at night must be taken on a downward angle as to include the ice. and multiple fish in 1 picture?? 2 pics dont even have the card in the pic of the fish on the ice.

oh well, I guess folks are just excited as its the first day $:-\$

There is no "minimum length" so I think you need to read the rules again also.

I agree though, I saw one entry that meets the requirements. If you catch a fish at 6am, keep it thawed and take the picture during the daylight so we can see the ice in the background!

I think the minimum length noted in the rules is for the "Randomly Drawn Trophy Prize".

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes you are correct. The minimum lengths are only for trophy drawings at end of tourney. You can post any size of fish you catch in any category.
I noticed to multiple fish in pics....no worries, they will be DQed by Lonewolf. Every year some get DQed for pics not meeting requirements. Sad when someone has a nice trophy. Every year rules change....you have to read them, its just like hunting regulations

I put 1 in the brook trout with more than 1 fish. Didnt see that till i was home and to late. No worries there will be plenty more

Yea, I just put one up of a piceral i caught today, but im sure it will get dq'd, I droped my tape down the hole trying to get it out of my pocket, and the only other one i had was a white one...but its a clear picture, oh well. Time for a new tape...lol

Hey thanks man it was a blast, I think i was on the ice for like 20 hours and when i saw that head comming to the hole it made all that time worth it... getting one of those bad boys this early was just awesome

I put up the best photos we got . We did not want the fish to freeze so only a few quick photos . For my second photo I didn't have the card but according to THE RULES ... you don't need to have the card in the second photo .
