1lb green bomb blanket

Has anyone used one? I thinking it would work to slow or stop freezing of the tanks. Anyone else beleive this.....?

They started putting them on the Jiffy propane augers this year..seems to work ok for my buddys tank..

I don't know if it would help or not I've had tanks freeze in summer. Best thing would be find a way to heat it when not in use maybe big hot pack like for your back to keep warm?

If the propane was warmer than ambient to start with, it would work for a while but the propane requires energy (heat) to change from a liquid to vapor.  Once the propane gets colder than ambient, a blanket will slow the liquid to vapor phase transition.
