Chilly nights are here!
« on: Aug 13, 2010, 09:05 AM »
Last few nights have been noticeably cooler and a bit chilly. Either the new season is beginning to shift, or it's the wifey letting me know I should have cleaned the garage last week!  ;D

One way or another, I've found myself gravitating toward IS.com, the Strikemaster and Clam sites! It's gonna be a good year people!

I can't think about fall weather, let alone winter weather and ice fishing, in mid August. I am in the midst of harvesting corn, tomatoes and cantalope from the garden. Ice fishing is still 4 months away for me.

Looks like we may have FINALLY gotten out of the mid nineties, dripping humidity, and tornados. Was 74 today with a low for the next couple of nights in the low fifties...finally. Hope it's gonna stay.... ???

Went out fishing on the boat at sunrise yesterday and there was a chill in the air.  First thing I thought was it's one step closer to ice...of course it's supposed to be high eighties tomorrow but it's getting there.
