One Big Goal, 2017-18 Ice Season
« on: Oct 09, 2017, 02:46 PM »
Well, this amazing Colorado weather has me thinking about ice.

So, what's your one big goal for this ice season?  My big goal is to ice a bass over 20".  It's been a while for me, and I'd like to get back into the ice hawg club...

How about you guys?
Nate

I'm going to make the trip out to Cascade Idaho to see if I can't find that 15" perch. Bucket list fish for sure.

Mine is to finally ice a 40lb Mac at Flaming Gorge.  I've passed the 30lb mark, but not 40 yet.

We've had a sleeper shack to SD to the IGLs booked the last 2 winters and had to cancel, first for bad ice and then my dad's back went out. Got it booked again this year. So, my goal is to finally make it out to the glacier lakes to get on some pigs!
Da Pack!

It didn't happen last year so I'll leave it at the top of my list this year...I'd really like to spend some time out in the Valentine area and get some of those big Gills.

My goal is to finally get a pike thru Ice. I had never tired so hopefully Terryall treats me good since that's the closet pike lake for me. not to many Denver metro lakes allow ice fishing for pike.

Goal:  To get both my older kids (5 & 6) out on the ice.  My boy has already gone a few times, this is the first year my girl has asked me to take her.  She's finally coming around!

Hey Mike,

Did you get your new drill yet.  Please let me know if you need any special tool or trick to get the screw inside the drill off.  I couldn't get that screw off and so did a few guys working at Home Depot.

Never fished the Granby tourney, but like Slayer says, I hear it's a zoo.  Good luck to ya, AZbassernCO if you go in Jan...

I'll be catching limits of perch in January, 30 minutes from home.  I guess a PB perch would be one of my goals for this season.
