We'll be OK.  The nights are supposed to be around freezing.  Happens every year.

I love the warmer weather and have had some of my best days fishing in a T-shirt.   As long as the nights are cold we should be OK.

Of course safety is number one, so know the changing conditions and don't push your luck, don't fish alone, and bring proper safety gear.

I would rather see a little warm weather and a litte rain than a foot or better of snow that will  make one hl of a mess

It may melt the snow on top but it will tighten back up and make dragging a shanty a breeze. Cheeks out!!!! 8)

The drag yesterday at the pond was a breeze. I dragged the two man frabill with minimal effort. I would live to see the rest of the snow melt aWay

Ok guys time for a Physics lesson. It takes the same amount of energy to turn ice back to liquid water that it takes to then heat that liquid water to 80 degrees celsius. 5 or 6 hours in the 40's even for a few days won't
do much. Worst case may make for some minor shoreline melting. Class over.

i went out in that warm spell on a little pond thinking there would be alot of ice but there was a solid 4 in some places and the i walked ten yards and there were air pockets all over and only 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches which got me frightened and to sum that day up we didnt catch a thing

2nd that it should be fine at least in my area ice is fine plus a little warm will make the snow tighten up making for windy days less miserable with snow not blowing around killing visibility
It's close
