Found the gills today

 ??? ???Got out this morning..Searched around drilling several holes.
Ice still looked good after the rain,etc..
Can you believe I  found them in only 4 to 5 foot of water...Got some
real nice ones at that..Hopefully they will still be around on Saturday..
I never take more than a dozen...

After some water seeps in, there’s a fresh supply of oxygen and sometimes clearer water that will attract the fish, in some areas, it makes them think spring is on its way and they start staging for the spawn.
