Alright well as of right now I am bringing my grill, hamburgers, hotdogs and garbage bags. I will also through in some plates and ketchup and mustrad. If anyone else can bring some plates or other snacks for your self along with drinks for your group.

Well thanks guys we had alot better turn out the last year 20 Times the number that we had last year

No one went away Hungry Thanks to everyone that Brought food and snacks!!

Had a great time out on the Ice fishing with some great IS fishermen look forward to the one next year!!

I'd just like to say I had a great time today up at lake Jean. We fished , we ate, we caught some fish, we ate ,we shot the bull with all the Shanty members ,we ate,we compared gear and shanties and yes WE ATE (elk burgers ,deer hot dogs ,home made chili, home made vegetable soup, ect. ect. ect.). Great day lets do it again .

yes any body that wasnt there sure missed a good time plenty of goooooooooood food

as for some people who i wont mention they should be more careful when leaving there vehickle and dont be in a huury to get on the ice please check to make sure your lights are off

Great time out out at Jean sat!!! Just got back from round 2 on sun. We picked the right day Sun was 8 deg and blowing 15mph to 20 no tipups today. Jigged a few however. Ice tales from MD braved the weather today also even after fishing till 9 last night, showed me some picts of some nice Crappie he got into last night!! Thanks for the Elk Marshrat cooked it up today looking forward to making it a annual event was good to BS with all!! FRED

Although I released all the fish that I caught , I was unable to make my 2 sons do the same . They kept 6 pickerel 1-24'', 1- 23 1/2 '' and 4 around 19'' to 20'' . And guess who got to clean them ? The stomach content of these fish are as follows 1 pickerel 8 or 9'' 1 large mouth bass 7 or 8'', 1- 6'' rubber worm ,several of the 3 to 4'' shiners stolen off tip ups , 1 -6 1/2'' perch and a couple of other small fish so badly digested I couldn't make them out. If these 6 pickerel can eat that much in one day, and still be going after the shiners on the tip ups , how much do the thousands that are in this lake eat. Maybe its not a bad idea to keep a couple.

A very late THANK YOU to Marshrat and all who fed me. Those roadkill deerdogs were pretty tasty

It seemed that everyone had a good time and most people caught fish, plenty of food to go around.....Thanks to all who showed up.

The camera guys were very impressed with how friendly everyone, as that was there first experience with ice fishermen. They want to know where the grumpy old men were

Although I have not seen it as of yet, they told me that they got some really good footage.

Also I must say how happy I was to see the smokers NOT throwing butt's on the ice........Thanks
