2/1 Bucks county report
« on: Feb 03, 2014, 09:54 AM »
Fished a decent sized lake in bucks on saturday.  The whole lake has an average depth of 8 feet and is loaded with big bass and crappie, with nice gills and perch mixed in.  There is one spot on the lake that dips to 10-12 feet, found it with my yak and fish finder in the summer.  I fished that hole for like 4 hours with tip ups and minnows while jigging all over with wax worms.  Didnt get one bite or flag.  Pretty confused why the fish werent there or biting.  Its like the only part of bottom different with the rest of the lake,  I would think the fish would be stacked.  Ice was like 5"  everywhere.  Dont know if I will be back there again.

Chris,

Not sure what lake you were fishing but I have a guess - if it's one of the two I'm thinking of, I may know why you didn't catch anything.  Sounds like you want to keep this one quiet so I wont post my guess in open forum.  PM me if you would like to discuss.
