Title: Drummond Island Perch?

I am going to be fishing this area for the first time this winter.  I am not looking for specific spots.  But I am looking for any info that would help.  What technique works best up there in the winter.  What bait do you use?  And is it even worth going after the perch in the winter?  Any help would be appreciated.  I am not stuck on just drummond island either.....I am fishing in the general area.
