Thats the problem.im not worried about boots not being warm enough but I routinely walk thru deep slush and water on the ice.lace up boots or boots with leather uppers will not work for me.i need muck style boots without the cheap muck style quality.

I went with the Cabela's transalaskan boots last year and they were incredible. They were actually too hot for the 25* days. I picked up a pair of cheap muck-style boots for warmer days! :)

+1

Been ice fishing for 40+ years my feet were always on the chilly side no matter what boot i wore and I tried alot. But then I bought the Trans-Alaska III Pac Boots from Cabelas 2 years ago and my feet have never been warmer!

I have those Yaktrax Pro and like them!  If I was in the market I would jump on that.
Good to hear. I bought a pair as a backup to the diamond grip style I purchased last year.

I also have a pair of trans Alaskans, my feet  are warm and dry , but not really made for long hauls , I also put 21 racing screws in each boot , and I have been ice fishing on my own for over 4 + decades , for milder temps I wear a pair of lacrosse packs with a felt insole and a thermal sock

this is a great price. everyone else selling this is priced at $74. only issue are the  reviews. 2 out of 3 have gotten broken rods and at least one reports that reel did not work.

I pick one of these up in Cabelas one day to look at it and turned the handle on the reel and it broke off. That was 2-3 years ago though.

I must be the exception. I picked up several at Dunham's for $15 2 years ago and really liked them. I haven't had any issues.

Still available in PINK!

https://www.sierra.com/eagle-claw-pink-inline-ice-fishing-rod-and-reel-combo-28-light~p~479fm/?filterString=fishing-rods-and-cases~d~190%2F
no experience with the rods, but I have 2 of these reels and have recommended them to others. had a problem when I opened the 2nd reel and contacted Eagle Claw. The sent me a new reel within a week of my sending the bad one out. replacement operates perfectly.

Octane hammer drill and a impacat driver and two 9 amp batteis as a kit 349.99. ??

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-18-Volt-OCTANE-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Brushless-Combo-Kit-w-Bonus-Bluetooth-9-0-Ah-Battery-Bluetooth-9-0-Ah-Battery-R9500-AC8400809-AC8400809/308862005

Hammer, impact, 3aH, 6aH with lifetime service and 2-9aH with 3 year. Not terrible, but if you just want the 9aH and hammer you can do better imo. I got my 9aH with LSA for around $90ea.

Ridgid has allowed me to register my tools, and the charger and both batteries that came in a kit. However, my 5 amp-hour and my 9 amp-hour have both been given a 3-year warranty, as Ridgid’s batteries, when bought separately, only carry a 3-year (limited) warranty. As per the company...

You need to keep an eye out for the deals where you get a bare tool free with the 9aH starter kit. Both the starter kit and too get prorated and you can return either one independent of the other.

The best deal going right now on the hammer drill is the clearance kit. $80 for the drill, 3aH battery, and charger.

Brickseek doesn't show the HD clearance prices. If you check your zip code and it's in stock and on clearance it should be $80.

Here's a thread about it from Slickdeals:

This is an insane deal, but not for the faint hearted.

Tackle Warehouse has their 15% off Labor Day sale going on through today. They also have the Daiwa JDM Exist 2003H marked down from $709.99 to $369.97, which is 48% off. The 15% stacks, which makes the final price $314.47, which is 56% off.

If you've ever wanted a crazy high end finesse spinning reel this is about the best deal you're going to find.

My friend, who loves high end bass stuff, just bought one and is trying to talk me into it. I figure if I can get other people to buy them out I won't be tempted anymore! :-D

I'm sure it's an amazing reel.  I just can't justify spending it on a reel that is used to drop lures straight down to 35 feet (max for my lakes).  Plus I don't catch anything big enough to justify needing a drag that good!   :roflmao: :woot: ;D

I’ve been watching those for over a year when they initially went on Clearance.  There were ten or more different models to choose from then.  Can’t even tell you how many times I almost hit the ‘Buy’ button, but never did.  These are exceptional reels, but with a major caveat in that they are not serviceable by the owner due to the magnetic oil.  Once it accidentally leaks out, it’s gone short of a trip to an authorized Daiwa service center.  I have a dozen $200+ reels with the most expensive being a Shimano Exsence at about $540, but my favorite reel to fish with is my Abu MGXtreme that sells for around $400.  On occasion, they can be had for just over $300, and at that price, they are a fantastic buy.  It’s the smoothest, quietest, lightest reel under $500.  I’d buy more of these before I’d buy the ‘15 JDM Exist.  Just mho of course.

You can save 17% on cabela's gift cards (not like the old days but better than usual). limit to 3 $75 packs. Could be useful when later combined with a good cashback offer through a portal site. Also handy when you buy your licenses there. (not you will need a membership for BJ's but you can get one for $10 for digital only). Also if you have a credit card that pays 5% at warehouses make sure to use it on this order:

ends 9/4/19
