how much ice do you have???

just wondering how much ice is around the state and how good it is.....also trying to target a nice crappie lake so that would be helpful too........thanks for the help guys 8)

you should find around 30-36 inches of good ice all over.

As far as a good crappie lake, I'm looking for one too.

Was just out last night and had about 34 inches of ice.. Was going for crappies but apparently my lake sucked.. lol caught one little walleye about 8 incehs long..

just got back from 3 days of solid fishing  up north in the bermiji (sp) area and found any wheres from 30'' to 38'' the rest of this week i'll be spending on mile lacs and the brainerd lakes area..

Nope sorry i did't fish it this time around but from what i have been hearing from a family member of mine they are still driving on it with full size trucks and cars..

All that I can tell you about how thick the ice is this... that my Jiffy 30 handle bar's are on the ice just as it breaks through ... so yes there is very good ice... west central Minnesota... Otter tail County area.
