Foster-Arend in Rochester
« on: Mar 10, 2008, 11:49 AM »
Has anyone fished here at all? I was out there most of the day yesterday. Tried just about everything I could think of, with no luck at all. My girlfriend caught one decent bass, that was it. We could see the fish down there and everything, just couldn't make 'em bite.

Anyways, wondering if anyone had fished this, and had any success...

I used to fish there way back before it was a city park. in the 70's. :)  Had to sneak in then. ;)
But when I lived in Oronoco & Pine Island, I used to go there in the winter, & fish for the trout.
Unless something has changed...If you care to PM me, I will tell you a place to start that was a great spot then, & should still be good now..

I tried sending a PM, apparantly I wasn't doing something right, don't think it went through.

Anyways, I think I am going to hang up the icefishing stuff for the year anyways. Time to get the spring fishing open water stuff ready I think.

Thanks for the offer though. Good fishing!
