Most lakes around the Michigamme/Republic area have pretty decent ice from what I've seen and heard. I fished a lake in the Republic area that had about 4 inches on it last weekend. Heading back there again tomorrow. Even Teal Lake should be fishable just offshore from the boat launch - I saw someone out there this week.

I've seen a few people out in the initial section of Teal lake by the boat launch. Anybody know how much ice is around there?
