Snow

Checking to see about the snow situation on the ice in n.e. sd.  Coming back up start of February and curious about drifts on most places being a problem.  Thanks

Bitter has probably 2 foot snowdrifts right now and is pretty much snow-covered.  Definitely have to pick your path  and pay attention or you will get stuck, watched six trucks get stuck yesterday.

If you don't have really good tires, high ground clearance, and can't keep your momentum going, you'll get stuck.
Shane's Guide Service is plowing trails from their wheel houses to the east ramp, so there are some trails available; just don't set up right on the trail or you'll get plowed in.   ;D
