I own the Cold Snap parka and bibs from Vexilar and a buddy of mine owns the Strikemaster set. We put them up against each other and they seem to be made by the same manufacturer and have all the same features - except I paid $179 delivered and his were $220 delivered. I checked out the deal at Reed's that hardwater Rick mentioned and both sets are on clearance for a great deal either way you go.

I really like my set - they perform as advertised. I recently returned from a 9 day ice fishing trip with some buddies and the conditions were brutal - never got above 17 degrees and most days the wind howled bringing the wind chill to -10. With minimal (but correct) layers I stayed warm and dry all day - I couldn't believe it. The difference between these two sets and the "blue" set is that the parka is lined with fleece. Very comfortable to wear.

I bought one size larger than I normally wear thinking layering and didn't need to - they are cut with plenty of room and flexability. I like the extra length in the parka - you don't get a cold back everytime you bend over. The only downside is that you look like a walking billboard with the embroidered logos everywhere, but I got over it.

Good luck with your decision - I don't think you will be disappointed.
