Some Hope To Be On The Ice By The End Of The Month

Read this article today from about a week ago and from what it says so far, it's been dead-on with what we've been having lately and if it's true then hopefully that winter plunge that we've all been waiting for will come hopefully around Christmas time.

Went with the Stryker series I see, my buddy uses one of em' and they're pretty top notch. How much did that cost ya?

cold will come when we stop paying attention to the weather.  i hope to be fishing by the first.  i am even going to drive 2 hrs to check a lake out thursday.

I got the predator at outfit2fish for $169 a piece. Best price I found on it this fall.

Some ice would be a great thing. I am going to be broke by the time it gets here. Every year I seem to buy all kinds of stuff involving hard water adventures. Once the ice goes on the spending stops. Funds are diverted into gas and bait. I am going to make the 1.5 hour drive this weekend to get a fix.

Today marks one month since I got out onto the ice for the first time this year. Already been out 11 times, not too shabby for December 11 :)

It looks like I may have picked the wrong millennium to get back into ice fishing.  It was mid-50's again today here.  Normally it's supposed to be 31 for a high.  Go figure.
