I have seen them and even tried to go by them but my opinion is that the weather has MUCH more effect on the bite than the sun and moon phase. My absolute best days on the ice have been before and during a storm IE.....barometric pressure dropping and when it is low. After a storm the bite will drop off! I have fished in a couple of snow storms and actally had to pull tipups out of the water cuz I could not keep up. Look at the forcasts to pick a day.......in other words....use a personal day when the pressure is gonna drop!!!!! Not that i've ever done that!
