Replacement Poles for Eskimo Quick Fish 6
« on: Nov 24, 2009, 11:18 AM »
First off, let me say that my fishing crew and I are extremely satisfied with this shelter after a full season under our belt.  It locked down very nice under serious wind and had plenty of room for four grown men and their toys.  More if not all are fishing.

However, one of our poles splintered last year.  We quick-fixed it with electrical tape, but want to replace it before it stresses the other poles.

Any idea of where to purchase replacements?

Thanks in advance.

Call the Country Store in Cumberland, WI at 1-800-387-6543.  They are an authorized dealer/servicer for Eskimo and are fantastic to work with.

Thanks for the info.

Edit: I called and the place above does have replacements poles.  They are used poles for $10 a piece...and $9.50 for shipping unless you live close.  I'd rather have new, but I'll take what I can get.  Thanks again.

Ouch.  Seems a little steep on shipping.  You may want to ask how many they can ship for the same price.  If you are paying $10 to have them shipped, you probably want to order 2 if the shipping cost is the same.

Try calling the factory direct and see if they'll help you.  Eskimo shelters are manufactured by a company called Ardisam out of Cumberland, WI.  You can call them direct at 715-822-2415.  See if that is any cheaper.

I have an Icecube and splintered one of my poles the same way.  I found that a fiberglass driveway marker- the orange kind with reflective tape around the top- was a perfect replacement when cut to length.  If nothing else, it could be a temporary fix to get you through until the new one arrives in the event of future mishaps.

Buying replacement poles from the Eskimo manufactuer is the route I took.  They are $7.99 and new, versus $10 and used from the department store listed above.  I ordered two poles.  With shipping, it came out to $23; not bad.

It's an old thread but this site is so great. Just broke a pole on my quickfis 6 getting ready for my yearly Canada trip. Any updated dealings with Eskimo?  I called customer service and  left a message.

x2

We did the same after breaking 3 poles.  Held up for the rest of the season.

Literally just ordered a pole from eskimo quickfish2i. Love the shelter. Cost me 2.50 plus shipping. Shoot them an email if you can't find the part number

Great. Just can't get through to eskimo... Thanks for the fix ideas. Might work better than just tape.
