Congrats on the Walleye!!!!
In 1991 I caught a 28.5" 13lb Walleye. I took it to Mr. Fish since I've known him since I was 4 years old. The fish still looks great!
The next day I went back to the Red River and a CO checked my liscence. He said "I see you kept a walleye over 28". Don't tell me you took it home to eat it!"
I smiled and said that it was my first Master angler and I got it stuffed. His words were that was better than eating it! He informed me that a fish of this size would have about 500,000 eggs and only 7,000 would survive! Since then I've caught masters (only 5 more fish of different spicies) and released them!
If I caught a walleye around the 15lb mark would I stuff it, I don't know!!!
