Can we still park at midway and walk down?

I did yesterday afternoon (thanks for the info folks), nobody seemed to be around. Dropped my stuff off at the lake and parked on the uphill side of the arcade. Unfortunately, only caught two small perch.

Went to Bell Tower today.  There are quit a few cracks out there and there is slush from the cracks under the 4" of snow on top.  Smitty Sled made the drag easier but tough drag without.  There was 10" of ice.  Fished from 8-12 noon straight out in 45 FOW, perch bite was non-exitent, but the Silver Bass were on fire.  Caught (12), one 16", another 12", two 10" and the other 8 under 10".   I moved 4 times to try and get away from them but all moves produced more Silver Bass.  I do not like them, too oily and a strong fish taste so I throw them all back.  Moved to Mayville out from the Marina for the afternoon, caught (13) perch 8-9" but bite was real slow.  Ice still 10" with 4" of snow on top.

Nice reports guys. Went to Vikings a few weeks ago just to check out, ended up not fishing there. Everyone was parked completely away from club, and it didn`t seem to be open. I never have fished there, but someone should call the club and see what`s going on. Could be some rookie cop or something who knows?

So I just got some night crawlers at Bob Sacamano’s Bait n’ Tackle right there near shipwreck and word is that a few guys got ticketed last night at Bussy Flats so careful where you park.

Gonna head down to Burtis in a bit. Sturgeon bite is on fire down there right now.

Just got back from the lake... attempted to fish my hot spots however when I got to the first  location bussy flats I found out that someone had posted about a hot walleye bite which created a frenzy of people so big that the phenomenon created a barge passing by to get stuck on a shallow hump in front of the beaver tail falls which eventually sunk creating a shipwreck structure for the future.. so I tried to get to my favorite sturgeon hot spot in Burtis only to find a 6 foot giant stuck in the middle of 3-4 foot snow drifts while attempting to get off the ice... so I steared clear and decided to skip fishing and just go have a ice cold beer instead.. there some guy was telling me he used crawlers for ice fishing...  ??? ??? ???
I think I should've just stayed home

About 10 years ago I took Skip from Hogan’s out on my boat and we fished a sunken barge in the lower end. He found it just by visual triangling. I could see it on my hummingbird. This was before I had ability to get coordinates. Since then I have looked for it and haven’t been able to find it.
