How much snow on the ice?-looking for 1 more time Sunday at Dewittville. Keep everyone posted as to ice conditions and if it is still possible to swing out and to the left around the creek from Meadows Rd. Seems like this snow is never gonna stop!

Is it down by the fish and game club? Is there a parking lot at the boat launch and one bigger parking lot across the road? I think I fished out of there a few years back in April. Ya I didn't like how shallow it was at the launch. Prop flew up mud for a ways out.

The big pond continues to be productive with the crappie bite improving with time. Three of us fished the past weekend to the tune of 300 jumbo gills and 17 legal crappies. Two great days on the ice. You just can't beat the taste of a bluegill dipped in egg wash, coated in Italian bread crumbs, and deep-fried for just under two minutes. Mmmmmm.

As this is the BS thread it probably is the right place for a recipe. From what I am reading last few days, I guess no one is fishing anywhere but Burtis or Mayville. Anyone after perch at Pendergrast, Dewittville or Long Point?

I fished Prendergrast Sat. and there was at least 8in. of ice. Don't think it would have changed, maybe for the good other than more snow? May be there sat. or Sunday?

Fished dewittville today.12" of ice.I caught 6 or 7 perch from 2pm till 4:30.only 2 keepers.

limited on big gills at Burtis. Sure beat the sorting through the dinks at Mayville. Smallest horizontal jigg I had in the box worked best. Tipped with a piece of wax worm. Fished from 9:30 til 3:00pm

fished birts last sun with my sun caught sum nice gills but lost my black rod bag with all 4 rods went to go fishing today and realized this if anyone found it 716-310-6255 much appreciated

Now that I cant get back up there for a few weeks, I'm thinking about getting out in the boat. Judging from what we now have in way of ice (and about a week? more of freezing nites at least), anyone have a guess as to an "ice out" date? Thanks.

20 miles away and we got none at all . I am in casssadaga where it snows even when it is not snowing at all, I doubt they got much?
