great cold weather but forecast for all of north eastern U.S. is excessive amounts of snow,alberta clippers,sasksatchewan screamers,and the ever annoying great lake effect snows. you need to get out early and frequently.

a few inches here or there ain't a problem. A lot of it gets blown off to the edges or melts down. Just don't forget the Smitty sled! Heck, all this snow did was fire me up even more!

Only supposed to get a few inches tomorrow and then windy tomorrow night and Wed! Should blow off lakes like Spider says. I think it’s just about a lock for this coming weekend! (We already have 2” on several lakes! ) 😎😎😎

us guys out west could get 1 to 18 inches today i hope not its coming down now we will see and yes its a blowing

1 to 18???!!!! geez, they're keeping their options open eh! I hope you don't get the high numbers, that could be a problem!

If they get the higher end it might not be so bad because the ice is thin so the weight of the snow will sink the ice, flood it with water, and it'll refreeze.   Now on the other hand if they had thick ice, say 6 or more inches, the ice would hold it up and that would be really bad.
