I have a cottage up at Meeting Lake, we can find perch every once and a while in the summer, but have a very difficult time locating anything through the ice. We haven't had a good perch outing in the winter since the mid 2000's. We went out in early Dec and couldn't locate any of them. At that time the ice was about 7" thick. We did land 6 pike.

I think my Brother and I are going to head up there this weekend. Hopefully we can land ourselves on top of a few. We haven't been up since the 1st weekend of December, can any one let me know if they have any snow up there? I can almost see my lawn at home.

ICe was 24-30 inches... snow cover is not an issue, but there is enough to cover the sides of your ice tent

last person I talked to said there wasn't any problem as the snow was quite fluffy. would imagine there are vehicle tracks to follow. They are still driving on Turtle

It was pretty blown in last weekend. We took sleds out on the ice.
