Don't get discouraged, pike are notoriously frustrating. Just try to make some small adjustments maybe, like checking into different rigging or leader set ups (the pike page of this site is awesome)... I like to add scent to my baits/line and sometimes get more interest than people near me, or sometimes use horribly oily baits (like thawed mackerel).  Sometimes nothing works because the pike gods just want us to suffer : )
Pike fishing is a like a cruel mistress that is too beautiful to leave.

Just keep putting your time in with big bait dead or alive and eventually you will be rewarded

Please give us an ice report on Bantam since you live in Litchfield.
Is it all frozen? Snow covered? What did all that rain do to it?
Thickness? Safe?
Thanks for any info.
