Freezeout Lake
« on: Feb 17, 2019, 03:36 AM »
Has anybody ever done any fishing on it? I was thinking some of them big carp maybe fun. Something different and a big carp through the hole would be a good fight. Just curious if I am reinventing the wheel or if anyone has tried it?

Be very careful where you drill. You will drill into dirt more often than not

I've tried it! Lol.  Scatter canned corn on the bottom ahead of time to attract them.  It's much more difficult than you might expect.
(This was back in michigan, not at freezeout)

It might be a ton of fun and more successful to spear them, bet they'd be pretty spooky though?
East of the Rockies and west of the rest, I do my best to do my dangedest and that's about all I guess.

I'm pretty sure bow fishing for pike and walleye is illegal in MT. I'm not positive though.

It was pretty sloppy mud I don’t think much damage to the blade. I was prepared as soon as we hit water
