I was just wondering where would be a good place to set up, someplace within walking distance of parking?

Not sure how much slush is present, but park in School lot and walk out to be even with the first set of granite bluffs on North shore...should find 25' or so there...
If you jig it,they will come..............

You can walk or drive right out from the launch in town. People plow all the way out around the fish cribs. People do really good there first ice at night time. Its a really hard lake to fish we only fish the shallow flats at night for the first week of ice. There is a Real good walleye bite and usually bigger ones from 11pm till about 2am. During the day fishing is usually very slow but you can still get a few flags to pop. Anyone have any info on the fishing tournement from last weekend? Always interesting to see the results.
