most are accessing from the vermont side. i dont consider it safe though. from just below there to the ti mill the center is open water. from the pier north past the bridge its all water. bullwagga bay is mostly water now down to the ist rock cut. be safe.
its 40 degrees right now and very windy.

I think I'll wait. Plenty of safe ice up on the hill.

Heading to my buddy's, to the far Northern part of Champlain Friday -  Monday. He has a house on st albins bay and says it's been frozen since before Christmas.  Always fish it open water, but never through the ice.

Mdouga1.     Down by pike brook your locals throw pike on the ice.     Opposite side hade 5 there the other day.   Nothing bigger then low 20's.     Pike fishing has gone down hill on the bay but other parts of the lake are doing great.

Combsey you've made it very clear on several posts  that you think every one from Whitehall or Dresden is a scum bag. I'll keep my response to you civil because of the rules of this forum

"Ok dude"

I'm not saying they're biting on Brant.  But they probably are

Not all. I have friends from there actually.    It's a group from there  and yes some are on here.     And some of the people I have seen were not from there.    The ones on the bay.   I see your from whitehall so you take it personal.  .....   but when I meet new people on the ice I sometimes go by David and you would be surprised by how many locals I have met.   Some good some bad.

Sorry you took it personal dude
