The crappies have been eluding us the last few trips. Lots of shorts. Josh and I are going after them Fri evening. After that I'll be hoping for warm weather to get the boat out!

I almost chased Crappies on Sunday...I ended up changing plans and went to buy a new "work bench" with the wife...Thanks DD and the Mrs. for the help!! No fish to clean but I did sleep good...

Almost chased crappies? Well then who's keeping my local crap hole warm then?

Haven't been there for slabs yet this year. Was hoping someone else had them primed and warmed up

LOL I had my truck loaded...Woody was sold out of bait...the wind started to blow a bit, started snowing a bit, nobody else could go...I talked myself out of it...LOL...I haven't been there all year either...plus the guy who gives us access wasn't answering his phone...too many things were working against me...I almost went...then I backed out and went with the family...

The honey hole done dried up... hasn't been that good at all this season. We'll be searching Fri for a new one.

Good Lord, it is almost that time of year again...changing up a few things this year...Looks a good cold start to November, if it continues we will have a nice long season...Heres to cold temps and little snow!!

I hoping I can run into you guys and DD when I’m down there on Onieda and there abouts. Gonna see if I can fins some of those most glamourous types from the Onieda Diehards Thread. You know, the ones that post 2 or 3 times a day and wear makeup.

Gonna be there from the 11 - 16 February. Mostly wanna ice some walleye. I hope to do a day or maybe a couple nights on crappies.

Yep getting close Bruce...KP no blindfolds necessary we should definitely meet up out there somewhere...Clamfarmer that was a monster buck you shot! Jeff, my bow season was tough, first archery skunk for me in many years, I managed to stock the freezer pretty decent with the gun...Accidentally shot a 3 point while tracking a doe I shot...long story but filled m buck tag opening day with that little guy...I filled another doe tag this past weekend, so the freezer is pretty well stocked...we had a lot of fun at our camp and we took 8 deer total there...the camp life is really what it is all about...ready for ice...almost...
